Which Tool to Add GMC Yukon Denali 2021 Smart Key?

 As titled, which key programmer can be used to add key or program all keys lost on a GMC Yukon Denali 2021?

 

1. Autel IM508 or IM608 

When you try to add key for GMC Yukon Denali 2021, you shoud have can FD OBD, but MaxiIM will give you this code

Auto can’t get this done on it’s own.
Ecm not password default, before it’s changed, autel can’t not read password. You need get password calculated by Autel team or third-party.

All the new SUVs (Yukon, Tahoe, Escalade etc), new 2021 proximity is CAN FD immo system. An Autel CAN FD adapter is required.  For the new system it needs outside help for pincode.

They team view into your unit and do the code process and then get you to the point of programming the new fob.

Full size vehicles are different than the others. on the full size models you have to get a pincode, that isn’t pulled from the vehicle like the other models.

4. J2534+ Techline Connect SPS

It can be done with dealer software with original or clone MDI2 or other J2534 adapters.

Just download tech line connect with sps2 and if you have a j2434 device (none Autel) you can add keys and all keys lost very easy.
Many use cardaq plus3 and program those keys all day. You can’t use Autel j2534 since no can fd.

Yanhua ACDP BMW 35160 Red Dot Problem Solution

 Obdii365.com here shares one of our customer’s working experience on BMW 35160 mileage correction red dot problem solution. Hope it helps if someone has a similar problem.

 

Here goes the problem:

I tried to do a mileage correction on BMW M4 2017 F83 and got a tempering dot which I can’t remove.
Process followed, removed cluster board and FEM. Reset FEM to Zero using Yanhua mini ACDP. Then read the mileage from the cluster EEPROM 35160WT used VVDI Prog to read full data with ID. Written data on new VVDI eeprom and set new mileage. After installing back in car with FEM first then cluster. The below appeared.
Used E-sys software to code the cluster back in car faults disappeared and new mileage from FEM came back but the tempering dot is there.
Even tried to virginise the cluster and coded it with Esys but the problem is till there. Not sure what else I could do/ did wrong?
What needs to be done to fix this issue?

Solution:

I managed to sort out the issue. Had to put the original eeprom back on cluster then coded cluster with E-SYS. And using ISTA scanned car cluster was in transport mode. Removed transport mode and all working with no red dot. Mileage correction done again with using a brand new VVDI eeprom emulator 35160dw and FEM resetted to Zero via OBD.

 

If it is not working, try the following options:

1).

Try to virginise VIN in eeprom 95320 also which is next to the m35160wt eeprom.

 

2).

Wrong programming on chip need to write 1 by 1 partition im do all on replacement chip and all is working. Use vvdi eeprom emulator 160dw read memory, long id, id location from original eeprom. special function D160xx mod memory and write 3 block the new eeprom.

What is the Best Tool to Program Porsche BCM Key

 Which is the better Porsche BCM key programming tool, Autel IM508/IM608, Xhorse VVDI or Yanhua Mini ACDP?

You have to disassemble the BCM. You also need to be able to desolder 2 components. You have to take a module out, solder some wires, cut some circuits on the board.
Number 15 remove.

Read bcm, make dealer key, programming obd. The procedure is not difficult.

If from bcm mcu is 5M48H, it has less risk, you can try to do it on bench.

If it comes with 2M25J, be carefull, it will be expensive and very risky job.

Removing components is easy but many will screw the BCM while cutting the line.
Not worth the risk.

Do NOT touch that BCM with XP400 Pro!!! 90% chance you will make the MCU memory go wrong.

Xhorse have adapters. VVDI Prog does good job on it!

You can do it with vvdi prog+ vvdi2 or key tool plus using no soldering adapter, it’s much easier, but be very careful.

CG Pro 9S12 does not have solder free adapter. You need good soldering skills like xp400.

You can read data, and write key directly in CGPro, don’t need another tool.

How to Add Range Rover 2017 Key by Yanhua ACDP?

 Here is the instruction to program a spare key to a Land rover Range Rover KVM KF72 with Yanhua Mini ACDP.  All keys lost procedure is the same.

There are two ways to program key for this model- by ICP and OBD. Here we use ICP way (need KVM out).  If prefer OBD way, check instructions here.

 

Tools required:

Module 9 for JLR with interface board

Original key if have a working key

New JLR key that ID can be modified (i.e Lonsdor JLR smart key)

 

Need KVM out but without soldering.
