How to write with Ktag on Adem 3? Where to put jumper?

The ADEM III/ADEM 3 controller is the main. Electronic Control Module (ECM) used on select diesel engines.  You can write this ecu with higher version K-tag, i.e Ktag 7.020 firmware.

Solution:

Pin 1(vpp) & pin 44(rp) on Chip Ab28f800 hook to 12volts

Caterpillar P440 read by Ktag
