Problem:
Trying to read a VW Transporter 2.0 Delphi DCM6.2V ECU with Autotuner via OBD. Autotuner reads the ECU ID but cannot connect to ECU.
Gave an initialization error 02.
What's the solution?
Solution:
1). When initializing ecu, try ignition off and after 3 sec ignition on. This can also happen on VW Crafter.
2). Check if there is an aftermarket alarm installed. Block it and try again.
User feedback:
The issue is resolved.
An aftermarket alarm was installed, blocking the engine via CAN.
ODIs online and firmware update again.
