Recenly some users reported they failed to send Autel diagnostic reports via email, here is the possible solution.
User 1:
I have issues with getting diagnostic reports emailed. Normally I email diagnostic report straight to customer and myself from the tool , the email normally arrives within a minute or so.
Been trying for couple of days now and emails send ok but never received .
Nothing has changed my end in reference to settings etc.
User 2:
Anyone else get this when trying to log into email after the newest update trying to send a diag report by email?
mine use to work fine until the update.
User 3:
I can’t figure out how to set up my email in my Autel MaxiSys Ultra in order to send diagnostic reports. Apparently per autel, google/Gmail has changed security settings and I can no longer setup the email account with Google or outlook. Emailing our scan reports from the vehicle history page was very easy before this.
Solution 1:
If need to send report via gmail, try to create an App Password for Gmail.
Many users stumbled on this solution for Outlook.
Check detail guide to set up gmail for Autel scanners.
Solution 2:
Autel suggests using the cloud. Just use Cloud reporting and your don’t need an email on it. Many use cloud report to send pre and post scans.
Use cloud by selecting ‘get report’ save and view report- share it to recipient email and it works.
If you save the file as “report to cloud” they can then be emailed to anything with a web browser.
Also you can find the files using the ES File Explorer app.

New App to Store and Share Reports via:
• Text
• Email
• QR Code
Solution 3:
Use the chrome browser, login to Gmail, create an email and attach the pdf file to it.
Save report as a PDF and hit share via email but it’s a bit inconvenient especially when some prefer to have it sent to their mobile.
