MQB function requires JMD OBD adapter. The adapter only works with Handy baby II.

Handy baby ii cannot do MQB all keys lost.

Handy baby 2 OBD does not support JCI dashboard offline programming, always do it online. Online need extra token.  Offline programming does not require token.

How to Unlock BMW PCF7945 Smart Key with Handy Baby II

New JMD Handy Baby II second generation key copy machine adds lots of new features, IC/ID decoding, smart key renew, copy garage door remote control etc. Here’s the demo guide on unlocking BMW PCF7945 smart key using handy baby 2 key copier.

Remove smart key

Put smart key PCB into coil

Identify key chip ID46

Key is locked and can be decoded.

Connect smart key pcb with Handybaby II via USB cable

Select Remote function ->Remote Renew->BMW->5WK49125

BMW Type: PCF7945
Select the data to the original key to write.
Press Write Button

Go back to identify smart key

BMW 7945 smart key has been unlocked by Handy baby II successfully.

How to Activate JMD Handy Baby II Key Chip Copier?

To use Handy baby II key copy machine, you need to register device first. To use G chip (for free) and ID48 chip copy function (need adapter), you need to activate the authorization before use.  Here’s tutorial on handy baby 2 registration.

How to Register Handy Baby II?

Power on key copier

Go to Setup menu->Version

New device is not yet registered

Connect Handy baby 2 key programmer with laptop via USB cable

Open JMD Handy baby Client V4.3.0 software

Select Registered Account

There are 2 options to register the account, by Email or by mobile phone number, here we take the phone number for example:

Manually enter phone number, user name and password,  press Obtain button to get a vertification code on mobile phone (mailbox)

Enter registration code and Submit

Registration success.

Now login JMD with user phone number/email and password

Press Register Tab

Follow prompts to connect handy baby ii key copier with PC, turn on mobile phone, don’t disconnect device during the procudre

Then you can activate G or 48 authorization

Select authorize G and start registering

Register success

Select  authorize 48 and start registering

48 function has been activated.  To use 48 chip copy function, you need extra JMD Assistant adapter to work with.

Go back and check device information. The Handy baby2 is registered and ready to use.

FYI:  Handy baby II comes with G function , 2pcs JMD Remote and 3pcs Red Super Chip .

Red chip= JMD 46/4C/4D/G/KING/48 Chip all in one.

Easy to do…

Done with an 8C chip and a TK5561A blank chip

Put the 8C chip in the coil of JMD handy baby, and press OK

Read out the type 8C and ID

Take out the 8C chip and press OK

Message pops up “Put in blank TK5561A”

Put in the blank TK5561A

Then you’ll see it copy successfully

Which tool to program Audi A6L Q7 8E transponder?

Question: Which key tool can I use for 8E transponders, from Audi A6L/Q7?

Answer: There are optional solutions. It can be done with some key programming tools.

VVDI2 commander and Zed-Full are two popular ones.

Noe that Xhorse VVDI2 is the best for it. Easy and fast!

But of course YMMV.

In detail…

Audi 8E transponder done with VVDI2 Xhorse

Time: 2min

Run VVDI2 Audi

Switch ignition ON with the original key

Key learn – 4th immobilizer system -Audi – A6L/Q7 allroad

Chip type 9S120t128- read J519 EEPROM with a working key

Read component security bites and PIN (login) code

Switch ignition OFF and then switch ON

Successfully read EEPROM j518. save data

Warning: if the instrument dashboard loses power or cannot start the engine, please cut thepower from the car battery and connect again

Write component security bites and PIN (login) code

Put the 8E transponder into VVDI2

Vvdi2 is gonna make a dealer key

Reading data…

Successfully made a key

Key learning..

Switch the dealer key and switch on for at least 2 seconds.

The time for changing key smaller than 5 seconds

Press OK after all keys are learned

Audi 8E transponder done with Zed-Full

Time: 5min

Read the working key to make sure of transponder data

Read the new key to make sure of transponder data

Select OBD application – VAG – model: AUDI A6/Q7

Select read pincode – ezs, read ezs to extract the last 2 digit

Procedure precode chip

Program key

Test the new key

Done!

Conclusion:

Both VVDI2 and ZED-FULL can work for Audi A6/Q7 8E transponders.

But VVDI2 runs much faster than ZED-FULL! 2 times faster!

Note that you can also use JMD Handy Baby or Keydiy KD-X2 for 8E transponders.
