With the new Alientech KESS3 Unlock Module, you can perform the Unlock procedure directly in your workshop on supported Bosch MDG1 ECUs and then access their memories in BOOT mode.

 

This new accessory is specifically designed to perform the “Unlock” procedure directly in the workshop on MD1CS003, MD1CS069, MD1CP007, MD1CS012, MG1CS042, MD1CS004 (HW80), MG1CS031, MD1CP006, MD1CS005 and MG1CS002 ECUs. Alientech further expands the operational capabilities of KESS3 with the introduction of the new DataLogger function: the integrated feature dedicated to real-time ECU parameter monitoring and recording.

During a road test or dyno session, you can analyse what is actually happening inside the engine: pressures, temperatures, RPM, air-fuel ratios and many other signals.

In daily workshop operations, this translates into a concrete shift in the way you work: you can accurately understand real engine behaviour, validate calibrations based on objective data instead of assumptions, detect anomalies directly during road tests, and always have a complete history of tests available for comparison and long-term analysis.
