From today, you can see what the engine is really doing in real driving conditions.

Alientech further expands the operational capabilities of KESS3 with the introduction of the new DataLogger function: the integrated feature dedicated to real-time ECU parameter monitoring and recording.

During a road test or dyno session, you can analyse what is actually happening inside the engine: pressures, temperatures, RPM, air-fuel ratios and many other signals.

In daily workshop operations, this translates into a concrete shift in the way you work: you can accurately understand real engine behaviour, validate calibrations based on objective data instead of assumptions, detect anomalies directly during road tests, and always have a complete history of tests available for comparison and long-term analysis.

How it works in the workshop

• Connect KESS3 via OBD
• Select parameters from the ECU
• Start recording and analyse data

You can view up to 5 parameters simultaneously, selecting the most relevant ones for your test.

Before starting, check signals to ensure correct data acquisition.

During the test, monitor parameters in real time (numeric or graphical view), immediately verifying data consistency. You can also set thresholds to detect anomalies and add markers at key moments.

At the end of the session, all data is automatically saved in the Dashboard, ready for analysis and comparison.

You can:

• analyse test history compare different sessions
• share data with collaborators or technical support
• export everything in CSV

Repetable Tests

Thanks to integrated GPS, each recording includes:

• Position
• Altitude
• Vehicle movement

This allows you to replicate the same test under identical conditions, making results comparable over time.

DataLogger is already included in your KESS3: no additional hardware, no installation, immediately available at no extra cost (with active subscription).
