Read Ford Visteon DCU101 with MMS Flex

Question:

There is no protocol for Ford Transit Visteon DCU-101 in Flex software.
Will Flex Read Visteon Dcu 101? Is it safe to use dcu-102 protocol?

 

Here is the clue.

Yes it can do through protocol for DCU102. Ford Transit is safe with dcu102 protocol.

Flex can read DCU101 via OBD/OBD bench or boot mode.

No need boot it though. OBD or OBD by bench, using the DCU102 protocol.

Dcu101, dcu102, dcu104, dcu108, dcu208 are same.

Ford 102 protocol is same for all but 1 version of the DCU ECU, so 101, 102 201, 204 104 204 etc all good.

 

NOTE:
dcu102 psa only VR on kessv2/kess3, you can read flex boot is easy and write obd2 with kess.
