Hyundai Kia MB91F061 MB91F067 Mileage Correction Tools

 Customer question: 

I need mileage correction in Hyundai i30 2018 dash with fujitsu mcu MB91F061, a Kia Sorento 2016  fujitsu mcu MBb91F067 and SPORTAGE 2020 with Renesas mcu RH850. What is the best tool to do this?

 

Several tools exist to correct mileage on fujitsu mb91f061/MBb91F067 or renesas RH850 mcu clusters.

SMOK: If you have SMOK then use their microcalc2 to calculate the new km. A friend of us did a 2016 it was MB91F061BS did with SMOK.

DP4: Diagprog4 can do it via Obd port.

Enigma:  Enigma makes them all on bench. Simple 5 or 6 wire connection and done.

iProg+ original:  Iprog+ Cardiag script can do this, Honda, Hyundai, Perodua Axia, Toyota Rav4, Toyota Innova, Kia
That is the best script for Fujitsu Mcu MB91Fxx series. But it cannot do RH850 yet.

X-tool:  Take the cluster out of vehicle and with x-Tool under the Fujitsu Spansion (Denso adapter) section choose Kia Sorento 2015+ Mb91f067 exact same processor and mileage location as Hyundai santa fe . Take off back cover and solder on 7 wires from Denso adapter as showing in diagram and use to write flash and eeprom I posted and change mileage same under Kia Sorento 2015+Mb91f067.  Follow instructions and Solder on the 7 wires on the sante fe cluster the points are clearly marked ,uin,uout,gnd,mdo, rstx,ign,gnd. Read your original flash and eeprom save it and then write the good flash back.

CG100X: CG100x does correct mileage for Hyundai Fujitsu Mcu MB91Fxx series. But it cannot read and write Hyundai 2019- RH850 cluster yet.

for cg100 use the pro v2 line

wire 4 = uout

wire 3 = uin

wire 7 = rstx

wire 6 = mdo

wire 12 = gnd

wire 1 = 5v

wire 2 = ign ( if you use kia k3 2016 script to read)

use the programmer to read dflash and post for modification because you don’t have a script for kia cerento in cg100 or use kia k3 2016 mb91f067 connection its same dash.

 

 

Yanhua Digimaster 3: D3 will correct mileage for Hyundai Sonata 9 MB91F062BS, IX25 MB91F061BS, Verna MB91F061BS, CELESTA MB91F061BS

For MB91f067, Digimaster iii also does it, go to Programmer-> select MB91Fxx. D3 does not have have wiring diagram for this. Need to find diagram by yourself.

 

D3 cannot do 2019- clusters with Renesas RH850 MCUs yet.

Top 3 Tools to Correct Mercedes W212 Mileage

 Which tool corrects Mercedes W212 mileage?

 

Yanhua Digimaster 3

For easier w212 (none facelift model) digimaster 3 can do directly via OBD, no CAN filter.

Late 2013- 2014 Mercedes W212 facelift models you need to correct odometer and install CAN Filter (EZS nothing). The can filter goes near the cluster.

It can be done with Yanhua Digimaster 3. By the way, take backup from eeprom first.

 

 

Digiprog3

Digiprog 3 work fine ,
First ESZ KM and seconds dash bord KM change.

If it is full color dashbaord, digiprog3 cannot do it.

If it’s not facelift model (so before 2013) and use digiprog 3 v4.94, then you don’t need can filter/blocker.
But a can blocker is better to use all times, because if dealer reads the EZS it shows same mileage as in tacho, if you don’t use can blocker then EZS shows 999999km.. (but normally dealers don’t read EZS, they only read ‘assyst manager’ when serviced).

To change mileage you need to use option ‘EZS’ in menu of mercedes w212 of digiprog III.. then it blocks ezs and changes tacho automatically.

If you roll back odometer to a lower mileage off last service, its best to delete service history in car. use option ‘assyst manager’. enter ‘744’ days and ‘25000’kms for next service warning, and press ‘V’ when it asks to delete service history.

When you have a diesel it probably gives DPF error in car. and the car will run in emergency-mode, only drives max 80kmh. digiprog can’t reset this. You have to go to dealer or someone else who can reset dpf.

When some other errors turn up in display use the ‘clr error’ option to reset.

no tool will lower mileage on the EZS, but Diagprog3 or AVDI will flash the Sam to fool Star Diagnosis and instead of read the mileage of EZS will show the mileage of dash.

 To calibrate cluster for an Audi A3 2009 cayc motor, can i get the job done with this tool OBDSTAR ODOMASTER or GODIAG GD801 or Yanhua Digimaster 3 or any other way to do this? Via OBD2 or need to dismantle the cluster?

2. load It to Arbiters(FVDI) and decode(it will work for this), you will get full immo data
3. U can try to repair flash – forum got procedure – need to fill FF some addresses but as U got new same cluster – read it too(if U got no key for spare cluster – if Got it u can do it by obd)
4. change of immo data in spare cluster(export config data and write by xprog) – even key will work.

Digimaster 3 Toyota Vios 2019 Odometer Correction

 Yanhua digimaster3 is a very good mileage programmer for Japanese cars, especially Toyota, some supports till year 2020/2021.  All EEPROM job. Here is an example on correcting odometer on a Toyota Vios MB91F061BS instrument dashboard eeprom 93c46.

 

Go to Toyota and then Vios

Digimaster 3 will give you the wiring diagram

Connect the meter and the CPU socket of digimaster iii ICP adapter according to the wiring diagram correctly

Backup data when writing DFLASH

D3 reads current kilometer is 43825KM

Confirm current mileage by pressing Yes

Manual enter mileage you desired, i.e 15345KM

Writing data until completed.

Check new mileage after correction.

Read BMW CAS3 IMMO FLASH by Digimaster3 or VVDI Prog

 Have BMW CAS3 immo eeprom flash to read, Xhorse VVDI Prog is the best, Yanhua Digimaster 3 (D3)  is okay too, but need more skills.

 

Part 1. Use Yanhua Digimaster 3 to read BMW CAS3 eeprom / flash

Tips:

1). Do not extend the black and white feeder, cut it short and connect it directly

2). In addition to the feeder line and GND, all other lines must have a voltage output between 4V and 5V.

 

The following images shows how to weld the cables, and you can see that I connected the CAS BDM adapter. Then in the Digimaster 3 machine, I selected the CPU program, then CAS3, and then read it until it succeeded.

Part 2. Use Xhorse VVDI Prog to read BMW CAS3 eeprom / flash

Read eeprom & flash CAS3 0L01Y BMW for example.

0L01Y mask is an ECU connected to VVDI Pro by MC9S12 reflash cable.

You have to solder the cables first to the specific pins on the board.

And you have a diagram here, okay I’ve got everything connected correctly.

 

So I can start reading the EEPROM and flash.

1. Firstly, we’re gonna read EEPROM.

so when everything is ready you just have to click “Read” and wait a little for initialization and reading the chip.

Okay and it’s already done as you see operation success.

Okay, I can save that to a file to the bin file.

2. Now we are gonna read the flash.

The same procedure, but I have to read in the red branch you have choose the flashing and just press the red button. I have to wait one minute, sometimes less than one minute it depends on the temperature. Just read it out and you will be able to save it in the file.

Okay, operation success.

So, If you want to write any dumps, you can just do it by clicking the right button at the top of VVDI Pro programmer, so it’s easy actually.

The most difficult part is to solder the pins correctly but you have the diagram, so it’s not a big problem.

 

Okay, this is everything what I want to show you, VVDI Prog programmer is amazing as you can see it can read Flash and EEPROM in a minute.

Digimaster3 cannot connect to server during upgrade Solution

Problem: 

I tried to update Digimaster 3 odometer correction software, it failed me and give me error "cannot connect to server".


Solution from obdii365.com:

You have to enable network connection when update Digimaster3. Plug the network cable to D3.

Go to Management->Remote Assistance->Set IP (Digimaster 3 will detect IP automatically)

Then follow update manual to update D3.

How to: change Audi A3 2014 NEC35XX VDO odometer using Super DSPIII+ OBD Tool full over OBD.

Mileage before correction: 9997 mi (miles)

Connect DSP3 with vehicle via OBD socket using OBD adapter

Select Odometer function->Audi brand->Audi A3-> A3 2014 NEC35XX VDO

Connect the OBD adapter to the car

Press Start button to download the program

Reading mileage

Super DSPIII Plus will read mileage in both km and mile. Here it reads 1000 miles (very close to original mileage)

Select Write in Mile, enter new mileage you desired: 25005 mile

Press Write KM

During the procedure A3 instrument turns black, this is normal. It will auto reset later.

Super DSPIII obd tool corrected A3 NEC35XX odometer success.

The new mileage 24998 mile is slightly different from what we entered, but it does not matter.

Yanhua Digimaster 3 Change Mileage on BMW X5 2010 CAS3

Questions: 

I tried to correct the odometer on my BMW X5 2010 instrument.  But Yanhua Digimaster 3 mileage programmer gave me error "This function is for testing by conner only. The formal issuance will be advised later."

You have enter the wrong menu thus leads to operation failure. Here's the correct menu in Digimaster3:

Select Meter System->Europe->BMW->1 series (E87)

Select Deal with CAS module->Black CAS->9S12XDP512 to check the CAS wiring connection

Then select Meter Adjustment (Mileage Correction)->35080 v6
You will need another 35080 V6 adapter and then follow Digimaster III prompts to continue until complete.
