  1. I bought one purely as it was cheap, I needed something for my Comfort Access retrofit that could make keys and read the CAS. This was £300ish and does everything I need. It makes keys flawlessly on CAS4 over OBD. I know it’s not the most expensive but keys over OBD is a great option!

 

Update:

I bought an Yanhua ACDP mini purely to create new CAS4 keys for my F10 and to clone my CAS4 for a comfort access retrofit. CAS clone worked great and was successful in adding new keys to donor CAS after cloning as well as original keys working ok. Reading CAS4 via ICP working first time every time and I have had no failures or errors. The issue with my method was that cloning the original CAS4 also copied the HWAP which rendered the Comfort Access aspects of the donor CAS inoperable. The solution was given by a friend who decrypted the CAS using a different tool, I think Autohex. I still had to provide the DME ISN for him from ACDP in order to decrypt the CAS data.

ACDP has some usable functions but its certainly not a professional tool. I don’t use the mobile interface, I use the PC software.

 

  1. True, ACDP is one of the best tools. No soldering and does what it needs to for key making and icp reading of cas.
    Explorer is the most cumbersome (you need keytag tool, Ecu explorer needs that you open dme’s e.t.c) but one of the best all round tool, Autohex makes things as easy as can be and also one of the best all round.

 

  1. I have the newest one my ACDP is only 2 months old. bought FULL BMW PACKAGE.

FRM repair also works good

 

Update:

I used it for few keys and coping f series ecus had no issues with that,
tried bdc for key programming wouldn’t connect to bdc via adapter
need more testing but so far for keys on cas4/3 it works good.

Just did CAS4  KR55WK49663 key yesterday worked like a charm, I need to test it on fem and bdc but CAS never had any issues. I also use it from iPhone

 

  1. I got it since a week and i am excited
    M35080 Programming needs some improvements, there are some bugs (tested on 4 dashs, and it’s better to desolder)
    Serial EEP 24XX, 25XX, 93XX, 95XX works like a charm (but tested on only 3 Eeps)
    Tried several CAS4 to Read without any problems, Mileage reset works too
    CAS3 tested only 1 but readed without problem
    On a another group they reported to create successfully keys on FEM/BDC and CAS4

 

  1. Reading eprom cas4 and make a key for f11 so far done.

cas4 reading eprom compared with vvdi reading and its matching 100%.

 

  1. All other 35080/160 are possible, like all other programmer can do also.
    ACDP is also working with smartphone tethering so a router is not a must.
    Didn’t test if it works offline,

    Fem key making and mileage reset is confirmed by other users in WhatsApp group,
    I can confirm mileage reset cas3/3+/4, key making cas3/3+, key 868mhz refresh
    and frm programming.

 

  1. I have it and have had it for more than 3 months now.
    It works perfect on all CAS types and for AKL but for FEM and BDC it still has a long way to go.
    Its also compitable via bluetooth so not only wifi is needed.
    Its a great and small tool, easy to use, compared to VVDI, R70, Upa and etc.

 

  1. Tested the Mini ACDP here with 4 CAS3 and one CAS4+ without any problems. For the first CAS3 I needed more than 5 minuntes to place the pins correctly but after some experiences I needed only 30 seconds for everything. Important is that you use the small screw tools to clean the contacts.

SVCI J2534 Program Ford J1850 PWM PCM Module

What’s bad of svci j2534?

  • Sometimes it is instable and sometimes disconnect from car.
  •  It will not program older vehicles (seemed has been fixed in new upgrade).  for the older ones you need the vcm2.

In sum, this device pays for itself.

1.I just did a PCM/TCM Module programming on a 2014 fiesta with the svci j2534 today. Honestly I was surprised how well it worked. I would suggest a usb Y cable. I was having issues before because my laptop USB port did not supply enough current.

2. svci j2534 work good i tested many times program keys, sync immo , remove speedlimiter etc. and work OK

3. For me it works well with newer vehicles. It does freeze and disconnect sometimes. But I’ve never had it brick a computer. I only use it for module programming.  So it might be annoying if you use it to diagnose and it keeps freezing and you have to restart IDS. It will not program older vehicles. Installation is very easy with the included loader. But if you can find a good quality clone I would rather go for that. But comparing this to the cheap quality clones around the same price I think this is better.
4.  Its a very good tool. Svci j2534 works fine. Have been using it for a year now.
5. I’ve done PCM/TCM on Kuga 2015 2.0L Tdci with IDS 116 no problem.
6. i use this daily with no problem at all .but it is slower than vcm2. but it does some things better than vcm.
7. I have this tool and it’s working very well. Very fast on programming and diagnosis. I recommend!

Orange5 BMW Mini FRM3 Repair Connection

 Question 1: can someone help with a guide on how to restore frm3 module in bmw e91. I have a Orange5.

Question 2: I have a FRM3R E70 AHL S:6135 light model and I want to repair.  I have Orange 5 programmer. But I don’t know how to read and restore eeprom from Dflash. Can anyone explain?

Question 3:  I have a corrupted frm 3 and want to read the data from the frm so I can do a recovery flash. Can anyone help with the connections of FRM 3 to orange 5 programmer.

Question 4:  I have connected Orange 5 with 9S12XEQ384 EEE but when I read D-Flash and P-Flash there is nothing, only in eeprom is something. How to repair light module?

 

 

Solution to these questions:

All steps for FRM3 ( (BMW Footwell Module)) with Orange5 to read – erase – set new partition and program it with new eeprom file and P-Flash.

Original Orange5 100% works. OEM Orange5 (the clone) is untested.

Select the correct Processor in MTRK – 9S12XEQ384

Press Read ID – if connection is OK Orange show you ID and Mask

Now click Query EEE to check if Partition is damaged

First select P-Flash and click READ button and save P-Flash (!!IMPORTANT!!) to have backup
Next select D-Flash and read it (this file we need to generate Eeprom File)
Now open DFLASH to EEPROM Tool – load Dflash and generate a new Eeprom file

 

After we have a Backup of D-Flash and P-Flash we must erase the processor – Orange 5 will erase the full
Processor
Click Erase button and select Erase → do not Unsecure!!!!

After the Processor is erased we have to set new Partition for Eeprom/D-Flash area.
There are two parameters that control how the
software configures the memory: DFPART and ERPART.
DFPART = Number of D-Flash sectors reserved as User D-flash (128 total)
ERPART = Number of pages reserved for EEE (16 total)
The two parameters are required to meet two size conditions to be valid:
1. (128-DFPART) / ERPART >= 8
2. (128-DFPART) >= 12 if ERPART==1
Examples:
“80 00” – Enables 128 sectors (32 KB) of D-Flash and 0 pages of EEE
“20 0C” – Enables 32 sectors (8 KB) of D-Flash and 12 pages (3 KB) of EEE
“10 0C” – Enables 16 sectors (4 KB) of D-Flash and 12 pages (3 KB) of EEE
“00 10” – Enables 0 sectors of D-Flash and 16 pages (4 KB) of EEE
Set FullPart and to DFPART 00 00 and ERPART 00 10 and click OK

After we made this we can check if partition is ok by clicking Querry EEE
now it should look like in the next picture

If partition is OK we can write new files
Select P-Flash in Orange and load your backup file to the processor
If write is done click compare button to check if write is ok
Select EEE in Orange and load your generated Eeprom file
Click write button and after write is ok click compare to check written file
NOW YOUR FRM3 SHOULD WORK AGAIN.

VVDI2 Program VAG Immo 4.5 MQB All Keys Lost

 Step-by-step procedure how to generate and program a new Xhorse VVDI VW Smart key MQB XSMQB1EN remote control for VAG group cars from 2014 to 2019 with a VDO NEC24C64 Immo4.5 counter on a Megamos AES transponder if we do not have a working key.

The procedure includes:

– reading CS data online using the VAG OBD Helper cable;

– generating the appropriate remote control with the Xhorse VVDI2 programmer;

– generating the Dealer Key based on the data obtained online

– programming the immobilizer and remote control via the OBD connector with the VVDI2 programmer

 

Step 1. reading CS data online using the VAG OBD Helper cable

Tick off “NEC24C64-MQB (4.5 MQB)” and then “Manually select key”, and it shows identification immobilizer system…Soon, reading data…IMMO… Ok.

Please select online key ID first (0A44386B – Key NO. 1), then use “Online Calculate immo data” for online calculation!

Wait about 90 seconds until calculate online successfully.

It will pop up an attention: IMMO4 – NEC24C64 part immo data success saved at folder C://

Attention 1: This immo data is not the full immo data, DON’T write it back to car with other tool.

Attention 2: You can’t prepare new delear key and learn key with this immo data in other IMMO device.

Attention 3: Press OK will auto open immo data folder.

Step 2. Generate the appropriate remote control with the Xhorse VVDI2 VAG programmer

 

Click on “Prepare remote -Proximity mode…

 

Note: Currently MQB key does not support make dealer key by other device, please use VVDI2 VAG to make dealer key.

Note 1: For 4. 5th generation IMMO system flip keys, need to programming IMMO with transponder first, after start the car, then enter VVDI2 diagnostic 09 channel to match remote. 4th, 5th IMMO system smart key, no need to match remote separately, after programming IMMO, remote function working automatically.

Note2: MQB flip and smart, need to use Xhorse MQB keys to generate, support Passat, Bettle, Sharan,. etc 4th, 5th IMMO smart key/ remote key programming, support change ID by VVDI2, keys will not blocked in service center for online operation, support multiple times rewrite.

Step 3. Generate the Dealer Key based on the data obtained online

Load immo data that is calculated by OBD helper.
