Launch X431 PAD V (also X431 V+) adds 2017 and later FCA Vehicles with Secure Gateway Module (SGW).
With LAUNCH X431 PAD 5, it is now possible to diagnose vehicles equipped with Chrysler's security gateway. Diagnosis can be performed without installing a bypass adapter.
This function require online subscription.
Register with AutoAuth to enable your LAUNCH PAD V/V+ tablet to communicate with the FCA SGW Authentication System and bypass the SGM, so as to perform diagnostics and bi-directionals without using a bypass cable. (but currently using this function needs to be paid, you can choose to use it o not.
It is a car equipped with the 2019 JEEP Cherokee Security Gateway.
LAUNCH has solved this problem with software instead of bypass adapters!
