Benz Xenon Headlamp Calibration by Launch X431 PAD V

 Launch X431 PAD V Mercedes Benz E300h W212 Xenon headlamp calibration DTC C156E00 Calibration of vehicle level was not performed.

Procedure:

On the function of X431 Pad 5, tap “Local diagnose”.

 

Click on “Europe” and then “Mercedes-Benz” and “Ok” to connect the VCI in Wifi mode…

Click on “Automatically Search” and it will read the information of the car including the VIN. and then read mileage from ECU, okay, it reads out VIN code, car model, SysCfgs ID etc.

Switch on Ignition? Click on “OK”.

Alright, this is System Topology and then “System List” and then XALWA_L-Left Xenon headlamp (E1n1), read fault code and have C156E00 (current and stored): calibration of the vehicle level was not performed…

Click on “Special Function” -> Calibration processes -> Zero Position adjustment ->

Vehicle must be on level surface, click on “F3”.

 

Back on click on “Clear Fault Code” and “Yes” to clear, soon clear fault memory completed.

Click on “Read fault code” and you can see there is No DTC.

And no error message on the dashboard.

Free download GM renew files.

Different number key does not matter if its another number the file is the same.

Example:

Reset/ renew/ virgin Opel Astra H key PCF7941 with VVDI prog

Renew Opel Insignia key PCF7937 with VVDI prog

2)

OBDSTAR supports some of Opel key unlock

BMW FEM Car Won't Start with ELV fault after Mileage Reset

 Problem:

After FEM mileage reset car would not start. I used Yanhua mini ACDP. Coming up with ELV fault ((Electric Steering Lock), ELV signalling authentication fault.). Resetting ELV and STARTER MOTOR with ISTA allows me to turn the ignition on, but car still wouldn't start. Put backup back in to the fem and look what happens. Still same thing. Dead FEM? 

Solution:

Remove the bloody ELV out. Virginised the ELV and all is good.

Which Tool to Program Old Prius All Keys Lost?

 Here are programming tips on 1st and 2nd generation Toyota Prius when lost all keys.

 

 

Prius Gen1 (1997-2003)

Gen1 Prius (2001-2003) no all keys lost via OBD.

Remove the eeprom , read it , and clone one of the existing keys, with Autel MaxiIM, tango or vvdi2

 

 

Prius Gen2 (2003-2009)

If it is non smart key, do the same way as Gen1. Read eeprom and write key.

If it is smart key, you can do it by OBD and reset the smart ECU.

Using tools like Autel IM608 or smart pro. Also you can program with a cracked version of techstream via OBD, same process. Reset smart ECU and follow the prompts

 

IM608 supports Toyota Prius smart system year 2004-2009 add key and all keys lost by OBD.

Autel Maxisys rewrite Honda Accord VIN after PCM replaced

 I have one 2007 Honda Accord with the PCM has been replaced and the vin number does not match, so I use so here’s what I came up with Autel Maxisys MS908 Pro to rewrite VIN number in step-by-step procedure.

 

Click on VIN and select “Manual Input”, type in the new vin number. You might have to type it again.

Alright, this is the VIN number that I entered say, okay.

 

It is 2007 Accord, that is actually the vin number that is on the car, not the new vin number that came with the computer because I picked up this computer from the junkyard, the key is being programmed already, that’s all you basically need to do and the car runs fine, but I need to rewrite the vin number. Say yes.

 

Select “USA”.

 

Give it some time to initialize the diagnostic system.

 

Alright, so we are gonna go into diagnostic and select “Control unit”.

 

Select “Engine-PGM F I.

 

Please give it some time to establish vehicle communication.

 

Alright, so here we have ECU information, Read codes, erase codes …everything, basically you need to go into “Special Functions”.

 

By the way I’m using the Autel MaxiSys Pro.

 

Select “VIN check”.

 

This is the VIN number that I entered and it tells you that the entered VIN will be rewritten to the new ECM /PCM, say, okay.

 

And just for confirmation, you might need to type it again as I said earlier.

okay and click on “Yes”.

 

Just give it a second and it should be done, complete that’s it.

Best 9S12 Programmer Needed

 Hello everyone, I am looking for a good programmer for mcu 9s12 family that can also work with XEQ, and other masks.

Best 9S12 Programmer Reviews:

1. Worked with everything (VVDI prog, r270, xprog, etc). I know it’s kind of luck, but among 100s of processor I have never killed a single one.
   With all the respect possible, develop your research and soldering skills. With right pinout and decent connection – even 40quid R270 will never make a brick.
   Even old-ass 5.55 Xprog clone for 50quid will read everything except XEP100, related article: Xprog V5.8 reads MCU 9S12XEQ384 from Range Rover 2015 -2016.

 

But VVDI Prog so far – best tool in my personal opinion, completely bugless with 9s12.

But for XEP100 BMW I use Yanhua Mini ACDP – reads those without soldering which is very time efficient. Very handy in case you do a lot of BMW mileage or keys, or maybe you are not so sure in your soldering skills.

 

1. Xhorse VVDIPROG is the best tool on the market as for programming modules ,but it works as a DUO (programmer + well prepared technician)

I work on immobilizer area mainly ,and vvdiprog did an awesome job so far (CAS for BMWs,EIS for Mercedes, FRM for BMW,UCH renault,J518 vag ) it paid for itself 10 times or more.

 

2. xprog original is a really good programmer…
   but for example…
   9s12xep768 (reball) in circuit no connection, installed in Harley davidson ecu´s…
   also same with smok…

   With cg pro/UPA/vvdi prog no problems with reading/writing…

   but in generally xprog a really good tool…
   since 6.5 in combination with win10 newest updates, I can´t see ADOBE help files longer…
   on win7 all ok…
