Scania SDP3 2.4* Wrong Hardware ID Solution

 Problem:

I was required to send a hardware ID to activate the Scania SDP3 4.28.2 software for my VCI3 interface. I did provide the ID but was told the ID is incorrect. How to find the correct HWID?

OBDII365 Solution:

The wrong ID may be caused by not well-installed Prerequisites.cmd file or incompatible operating system. 

Windows 7 or 8 is recommended.

Windows 10 is not recommended because some of it's releases does not support it.

Pay attention to the warning message after run Prerequisites.cmd.

Restart the computer after the operation is completed successfully.

SVCI J2534 Review on Windows 10 Pro 64bit

 Okay, here is everything summed up. I purchased my STIC SVCI J2534 diagnostic tool, once you receive your diagnostic tool it comes with one disc containing the Ford/Mazda software and drivers for the FVDI diagnostic adapter. My disc had IDS 122 on it but the newest software can be found here http://flyobd.com/shop/download-center (Note:The software in the download link is always up to date)

 

To get everything setup on Windows 10 Pro 64bit I did the following:

1. Go to My account of flyobd shop and make an account if you don’t have one.
2. Login to your account and go to Download or Download Center of flyobd shop
3. For Ford IDS download the following 3 packages : IDSFord, SVCI-J2534-Ford-Quickloader, and most importantly IDS_VCI. (Files appear to all be hosted on Mega)
4. Right click on each install file and Install everything “As Administrator” IDSFord (it will have you reboot after this installs),

SVCI-J2534-Ford-Quickloader, and most importantly IDS_VCI (The install videos I watched failed to list this, without this when IDS try’s to load it will fail.) I used the default option on all installs and ran everything as Administrator just in case.

5. On your Desktop there will be IDS shortcut, delete it as you will NOT use it to load IDS as it will fail due to no license.
6. Plug in your USB cable to your computer, plug your diagnostic tool into your USB cable and plug it in to your OBD 2 port on your vehicle. (Ensure the push button on the tool is in the pressed position to enable J2534, mine came in this position plus the button is recessed so you have to use something to press it. Otherwise it is a ELM327 if the switch is in the depressed position.)
7. Turn your key to the run position and open the shortcut on your Desktop named “SVCI J2534″(again I ran as Administrator).
8. You should see the IDS splash screen load up, upon first start it’ll ask about “Dealer Type”. Choose “Non-dealer” and select your country. IDS will load and you now have IDS!
9. You can go here to see what updates are available afterwards. Step 3 on this page will link the update package, simply download the package and run as Administrator. Now you have the updated package and just like before open with “SVCI J2534”.

 

A couple of notes:

1. VCI program looks like it does nothing when opened because it shows VCM not connected. Leave it installed or IDS will not work!
2. Without the tool plugged in and the key in the run position if you try to run SVCI J2534 you will get error saying “VCI not plugged into car, or car battery under 8Volt.”
3. If you don’t install IDS_VCI you will encounter error “Load IDS software failed. TDSNetsetup error. Please reinstall IDS software.”
4. I had also encountered a similar message reading “IDSLOADER Load IDS software failed. Maybe IDS has not been installed. Please install IDS at first. (I’m not sure what caused this error on the first install, perhaps I didn’t run something as Administrator) But after running everything as Administrator I no longer have this issue.
5. Ford and Mazda IDS cannot be installed on same computer, if you need Mazda IDS you must uninstall Ford IDS.
6. Compatibility mode is not needed on Windows 10.
7. Updating once the main version number changes ex. 116 to 117 you will have to wait on a new crack to be posted here as the SVCI loader will realize the version does not match.

 

If anyone has any questions or needs any help I will do my best to help them out or need me to test a function of IDS for this tool just let me know. I can’t do any “running test” on the truck since my HPOP is out but I ran diagnostics on it and it pulled all the data off the modules in the truck. So from what I can gather this is a working diagnostics tool. If this helps you out send me a little reputation! Hope this helps everyone out since I struggled to get it setup correctly.

How to operate in ACDP menu?

Click on “Jaguar / Land Rover”.

Click on “OBD Duplicate key / All-key-lost (2011-2019)”.

There are 4 options: Identify system information, Program key (add key) ,

Program key (All-key-lost) and Identify Key information.

 

Identify system information:

Please connect ACDP with vehicle OBDII port and BAV-key adapters correctly.

Program key (add key)

Note:
1. The add Key function will not delete the original keys, but there must be at least one unlocked working key .
2. The new key must be a special key that can change ID.
3. Must select the key channel with key ID to duplicate a key.

Please connect ACDP with vehicle OBDII port and BAV-key adapters correctly.

 

Program key (All-key-lost):

Note:
1. The All-Key-lost function will delete all original keys, but the unlocked working keys can be programmed again.
2. The new key must be a special key that can change ID.
3. Must select the key channel with key ID to duplicate a key.

Please connect ACDP with vehicle OBDII port and BAV-key adapters correctly.

 

Identify Key information:

Please connect the BAV-key adapter to the ACDP and put the key correctly on the BAV-key adapter.

SVCI 2020 VAG EDC16U31 Immo Off

 FVDI 2020 (SVCI 2020) or FVDI 2018 full has VAG V21.0/V38.1 software activated with specifial functions.  Here we test it on VAG EDC16U31 ECU Immo off together with the Godiag GT100 breakout box.

Follow wiring diagram to connect SVCI, GT100 and ECU

Keep voltage 12v+
Run SVCI software– VAG software- V21.0

Select Engine Control Unit

Identify controol unit infomarion
First read and clear DTC, then reset
Go to Special Functions- Engine Control Unit- EDC16U31 – Read data

Read data succes

press IMMO Off

Turn ignition OFF within 3 sec
Turn on ignition
Turn ignition OFF
Turn on ignition

Immo changed
Turn ignition OFF
Turn on ignition

Immo status has been changed.

iprog+ Pro Programmer: Win 7 win10 all ok?

 Problem: I have problem with working on iprog+ pro clone on Windows 10.

I need wait a lot of seconds between toggle scripts (sometimes I need wait a minute to work with next script or wait for opening program – it looks like sometimes programmer is not found or system looks for it, but it is not disconnected in windows system). On Windows 7 it works correctly. Where is problem?
I have turned off Firewall and Windows Defender, but it not resolve my problem.

I have check two times that real time protection is disabled by DefenderControl program. I have disabled also in regedit:

Yanhua Mini ACDP Where to read Volvo password?

 Yanhua Mini ACDP and Volvo module to program key: I only have 2 questions in the videos they show how to read the password, but they do not show how to encode the key, or after reading the password with cem or kvm, the key is encoded by obd2? and the second question. there are two cem or kvm modules in the menu can the password be read randomly from which module or depending on which module is mounted cem or kvm, does volvo just have both modules always?

 

 

Here is the guide on how to use Yanhua Mini ACDP to program key for Volvo:

For the full-keyless smart key programming, please remove both CEM and KVM module unit, and then to read the both CEM and KVM password, then install the modules back, finally program key via OBD port.

For the semi-keyless smart key programming, just need to disassemble the CEM computer to read the CEM password, then install the CEM back, finally program key via OBD port.

 

Good to know:

Yanhua ACDP Volvo Module 20 works with the newest Volvo cars and the new Volvo car have only full-smart key, not semi-smart key.

SVCI 2020 Program VW Polo 2014 All Keys Lost with VAG Software V38.1

 SVCI 2020 new VAG 38.1 software has special function activated which can program VW Audi 4th & 5th generation immo key. Here we successfully program a VW Polo 2014 key when lost all keys.

 

Run SVCI 2020 software, select VW- V38.1 software

Select Special Functions – Key Learning

Select key programming mode. We first tried Standard Mode, but failed to program key. So we tried the Wizard Mode.

The function requires internet connection. Confirm and press Yes to continue.

Select Type Login Code manually, input login code and press Next

Select vehicle immobilizer type: VAG vehicle (ext. immobox KW1281) and Learn Keys.

SVCI 2020 software identified the vehicle has 2 keys

Press Next to continue

2 keys need to be learned

Turn OFF the ignition and insert each key which should be learned and turn on ignition for at least 2 sec.

Test new keys when finished.

Done.
