Where to Find JLR Key for Yanhua Mini ACDP?

 The question before entering:

I need to try the new Yanhua Mini ACDP JLR OBD duplication function on a Land rover L405 2013. ACDP asks for a special key that can change ID. Where can i find the special key?

Solution:

The new key must be an aftermarket key that can change the key ID (i.e Lonsdor JLR key, xhorse smart key, keydiy remote key etc). The original key is not supported.

 

Another question:

Can i use Lonsdor JLR special key with other devices?

 

Yes, LonsdorAutel IM508/IM608OBDSTARXtool X100 PAD2/PAD3 all released 2015-2018 JLR OBD key programming function, all require a JLR key allows ID being changed.

OBDSTAR, Xtool, Autel does not have JLR dedicated key, you can use Lonsdor jlr key.

Program Renault AES 4A Smart Key with Autel Xtool or OBDSTAR?

 Question: 

As we know all programming 4A keys for renault clio v and captur are not stable with all tools, im508, im608, obdstar, Lonsdor and sometimes UCH crashes and dealer UCH may cost about 1000 Euro. Is it safe to do all keys lost via OBD?  How to retrieve PIN if bricks UCH (BCM)?

As long as obdstar server is working everything is fine. Obdstar has done Renault flawlessly. Renault AES 4A smart key no worries including all keys lost. Just as a precaution, put a stabilized power supply or put the clamps on another car to start, during programming, in order to avoid breaking the Uch (BCM).
Don’t forget to use the green adapter, which will allow you to precode the new map.

The latest version 31.08 server stops working. Obdstar with the new updates, Renault vehicles from 2015 onwards will not working properly. Because when obdstar retrieves the Pin code on the server, it virginizes the HFM, and if the server does not work, you can no longer reprogram a new map, map you find yourself with a blank HFM, and impossible to reprogram a car.

Autel IM508/IM608/Xtool

IM508/Im608 used to work no issue with clio 4 and Captur. Work perfect and fast! I have made several as well (clio 4 2018 akl, 2015 Clio 4 etc).

In Clio IV, Capture and in dacia with BCM johnson is where there is data loss due to variations in voltage, it is best to back up the flash memory at the beginning of the process, the most stable equipment are autel and xtool for Renault.

Xtool x100 pad3 is the best programmer for Renault, id4A. Reed pin 1 minutes safe job, and add key, or all keys lost.   With Renault trafic from 2017, it works well with Xtool pad 3 as well.

Normally using a voltage stabilizer there should be no problem, just first make the memory backup dflash xtool and autel have that option in case something happens you can restore it. Remember to have good internet connection because the calculation is online.

But Autels servers are down either. There is a big problem with recovering the Pin code, when putting the virgin Hfm.
Because then, it is impossible to reprogram the client card and the new card.

2015 Clio 4 new card no luck on OBD, Pulled HRM read dflash get pincode programmed new card in minutes.

He should remove his connection system to the servers, because it’s too risky when it doesn’t work. Zedfull failed on obd also.

The car breaks down and is forced to pull hfm read dflash dump get pincode or go to Renault’s to get the PIN code.

For repair, you need to retrieve the PIN and ISK code by logging into the HFM and read the HFM Flash.
Or, pick up the code directly from a Renault dealership who wants to give it away with a cash payment.

 

  • Is it still possible to read the pin code directly on the HFM?
  • Yes because the flash inside the HFM is not corrupt.
If HFM’s a virgin, but yet you can’t retrieve the data from the HFM flash through the OBD socket.
You have to do it on the table, to be able to retrieve the information by welding some wires directly to the HFM, and using Abrites/vvdi prog/orange5, to read and retrieve the data.
*(If your hfm was a virgin you can’t get the code back

obdstar is back into programming, it deletes the original cards and does not program.
Reschedule the HFM first.
Check with Renault Ecuador Tool, and it was very virgin (HFM blank) and no card to register.
Then use vvdi prog to recover flash data on hfm.)

So avoid programming keys and cards that use the AES 4A transponder, otherwise, your vehicle will not start again and the client keys will not work either.

SMOK will do automatic reading, without internet connection (without server), to avoid major problems.  At least with Smok UHDS , you don’t need to connect to the internet, so you can do Clio 4 and Captur phase 2 (after 2015) and find yourself with Hfm virgin, because of their Obdstar or Autel servers that are constantly rubbing right now.

How to Fix Yanhua ACDP BMW CAS3 Decryption Failed?

 Problem: I have a problem with Yanhua Mini ACDP when reading BMW CAS3/3+ by ICP and all pin detection passes, Why the data cannot be read?

Error: Memory decryption failed.

Error: Analyze the data error.

Solution:

If the above problem occurs, the decryption progress bar will reach 100%. But in normal cases, the chip decryption progress bar will not reach 100%. At the moment, it is necessary to check whether the C-GND probe on the interface board is removed or cuted. Reinstall the interface board to read the data once.

How to Program 2003 Saab 9-3 All Keys Lost?

 Question:

2003 Saab 9-3 all keys lost, Can xhorse vvdi key tool plus do this key?
I live in the US and they haven’t sold Saab here in a very long time.
Ii know Saab uses a tech2 as their scan tool? Can tech2 do the key?

 

 

Solution:

If USA cars are like EU cars both generations exist as 2003 model.

1) If it’s 1st gen it’s twice module under the seat. Need to read the Motorola processor and write key to t5.

2) If it is the second generation 9-3 it is CIM module out (behind the steering wheel) and need to read the eeprom. Read it in circuit, because it’s pretty bad stuck with protective coating. There is big chance to damage the board if you try to remove it.

You can read dump with vvdi prog and make file key with vvdi2.
GM tech2 can not do keys in all keys lost situation. Was working for Saab. The dealer solution is new module with keys. If you have used module with key programmed to it, it is pretty easy to adapt it to the car with tech2 tho.

Solution:

With an extra N20 adapter board, it works as it should.

Service Advisor "Unable to start the search engine" solution

 Problem: when I run the John deere service advisor software, an error occurred “There was an error initializing the search engine. Unable to start the search engine.” (27% loading the search engine module), and then when it goes to 39% loading the search engine module, it says ” the following module(s) failed to load: search engine.” (image 2). and then the program ends (image 3). PS: I am using version 04.0.007.

5 Tips to Follow:

The software is not well installed, delete the file and reinstall it. It is supposed to be an installation guide in the packed software file.

 

Tip 1. V2.8 software and V4.0 software cannot be installed on the same computer, they must be installed separately.

 

Tip 2. For V2.8 software: Back the date to 2019 (year), for V4.0 software: back the date to 2012 (year).

 

Tip 3. Unzip and install the software after changing the time.

 

Tip 4. Both V2.8 software and V4.0 software must be installed in the virtual machine.

If the software cannot detect EDL v2. It should be that the USB of the EDL v2 device is not mapped to the virtual machine, or the driver is not installed properly.

Here is one user’s successful experience for sharing:

Run as system administrator, roll back pc date reactivate using activator. Then roll date back to normal date if error still renew once again. Been working for me so far. don’t know how long it stay working but works im sure someone will have solution for it soon.

Also advice if doing fresh install roll back the date on pc do the install after then install and activations have been done.
goto task manager look for the service adviser on have it start its tasks in 2030 :save and then reset your pc date should be good for while.

Which Tool to Calculate 2018 Renault PIN Code?

 Question:

I need to add a key card to 2018 Renault Kwid,  vvdi key tool plus asks to input a long PIN code. Where to find this code?

Solution:

Xhorse will read VIN and Outcode. Send VIN and Outcode to the dealer for a 39-digit incode.
Then input 39-digit code.

It cannot read long ISN code directly.

Autel IM508/IM608 can pull the code. Autel works well for Renault and other French cars. Done lots of these, without any problems. Good Internet connection and battery support.

With the xtool x100 pad3 it also gives you the code. With internet is 32 digits.Use xtool pad2 – PAD 3 or elite pad, they can make this car without error and much faster than autel.

Which Tool to Read BMW CAS3++ ME9.2 ISN?

 2008 BMW X5 idrive with CAS3++ all keys lost. Autel IM608 says no support for reading ISN for ME9.2. I need long ISN to write to CAS3. What is everyone else using for this DME?

 

 

Suggestion:

CAS3 could be done via obd2, Cas 3 ++ Istap it best to pull eeprom bin file and make key with DME ISN. It can’t do 64 attempts if it’s got ME9.2 N62 engine ECU, this CAS3 is encrypted. These V8 models can have encrypted CAS3+ asking for 32-digit ISN to decrypt, but DME only uses 4-digit ISN.

You need isn don’t do 64 attempts. You could damage starter and get blamed.  64 attempts is only in car through obd not on bench at home, you need to pull engine computer and read isn.

AutoHex IIYanhua Mini ACDPKtag boot mode, BDM100, CGpro, MPPS etc. Even then it’s just gonna give you 4 digit ISN, You’ll have to send it to someone with AutoHex and have them convert it to 32 digit ISN! ME9.2 sucks!!

Read ME9.2 ECU with ECU programmers and send dump to someone with autohex to help extract long ISN from flash or read it with autohex/ACDP.

How to Solve Audi Q7 08 Car Starts Remote Not Working?

 Problem:

Audi Q7 2008, customer key remote control not working, but the key can start the engine. I tried to reprogram it with autel im608 and get success but again remote is not working,

And also have a problem when we remove the key the steering didn’t get locked !  It has any relation with center locking?
Driver lock and inside locking are working perfectly. And also when we put the key in door turn to clock twice the red light in door will bink.

Test report & Feedback:

Fixed by replacing key assembly- inside they key cylinder key positions sensor switch is damaged so steering lock and remote lock are not working. After replacing the module everything fine. And also I put car key cylinder with new one to match the door key and ignition key.
