APPRO2 programmer now supports Mercedes Benz HU7 Instrument R7F701529 mileage correction function.

Here we will show how to correct the mileage for Benz HU7 cluster using the APPRO2 programmer.
Tools required:
APPRO2 programmer, USB cable, 12V AC/DC power supply, A15-RH850 V2 adapter (comes with FN0093 module), MQB-5A adapter, A0C board and HU7 simulator.
Instruction:
Remove HU7 instrument cluster module from vehicle.
Here is a GLC(2024) – W206. The instrument panel is located under the driver’s steering wheel.
Disassemble the module and check if the processor MCU is R7F701529X.
Here, the processor MCU is R7F7015294.
Go to Mercedes menu- Benz mileage tool- HU7 function.
Step 1: Diagnosis
Read the instrument mileage.
Step 2: Check wiring diagram
Hit Weld (R7F7015XX) and check connection diagram.

Use the wiring that matches your cluster. Then connect APPRO2 adapter with cluster and device.
Need to connect 12V power supply to the module and A15 adapter.
Step 3: Enter Service Mode
Enter service mode and preprocess CPU.
Step 4: Read Config Data
Read MCU flash and Pflash data.
Save Config data.
Step 5: Calculate Service Data Online
Search config data saved in Step 4.
Input new mileage you desired.
Hit the Calculate button.
This step requires installing a simulator on the cluster. Check wiring diagram and install the simulator.
Then input a valid HU7 simulator serial number.
Save new mileage data.
Step 6: Write Service Data
Write new mileage data to the cluster.
Press Write Service Data function.
Upload new mileage data saved in Step 5.
Write new mileage data.
Step 7: Exit Service Mode.
Turn off the power and exit the service mode.
Step 8: Reinstall cluster back to vehicle and power on to test.
