Here is the tip to read and write the encrypted Bosch MD1CS089 ECU, typically used in 2021+ JMC and Isuzu trucks.

1. Need to unlock ECU.

How to unlock encrypted Bosch MD1 ECUs with EngineDance?

1. Provide photos of the ECU.
2. Provide ECU version information read by the X5 device.
3. Provide the serial number of the X5 device.
4. Schedule a remote unlock time (confirm with obdii365.com).
5. Refer to the connection diagram for the connection method between the ECU and X5.
6. Install the latest version of ToDesk remote software on the customer’s computer in advance.
