How to Change BMW CAS4+ Mileage by APPRO2 via OBD?

 APPRO2 (APP2) programmer will correct BMW CAS4/CAS4+ mileage via OBD without removing instrument cluster.

 

Here is a demo guide on CAS4+ mileage correction with AP PRO2.

Requirement:

Requires network connection and power supply.

Connect appro2 device with vehicle via OBD connector.

Run APP2 software. Select BMW Function- CAS4/CAS4+OBD function

Connect vehicle and display vehicle information.

Perform Backup coding and save coding data.

Do Preprocess ECU.

Select Fast mode to preprocess ECU.
Wait 3-15 minutes to process ECU.
Turn on ignition or switch hazard warning lights. Keep enough power supply!!!
The dashboard turns black and enter sleep mode.
Process ECU in progress.
Preprocess ECU finished. Unlock CAS4 ECU success.

Read Key List
Select a way to read CAS4 PSW
Select method 1. Read PSA by working key via vehicle induction coil
Put a working key to key induction coil.
Save key psw, ISN and DME ISN information.

Select mileage correction function.

Hit Enter mileage in CAS4.

Press Connect Vehicle.

Software detects 0km. We need to fix actual mileage.

Put key into APPRO2 device coil.

Read ReadKeyInDev function.

APP2 will display key information.

Click FixKeyMileage function.

Enter desire mileage here.

Hit Yes to correct mileage.

Check new mileage on dashboard. Done.
