Problem:
Audi A3 2022 MQB49 5D key learning problem.
Generated key with Yanhua ACDP2 successfully, but can’t enter learning mode. It says 0-2 in dash, can change even to 0-1 if choose to add one key, but cannot learn key, not even original one.
The ignition was on, then turned off when tried remote closing. After battery terminal removal and reinstalling, he’s got L3 1-2, but no start. Same way he can make it L3 1-1 but no start.
SFD gateway was unlocked.
With ODIS, key adaptation isn’t passing.
Possible reasons and solutions:
It can be an antenna problem. Check if the key sensing wire is well connected.
One of our customers had a similar problem. He ended up removing the centre console and discovered the key sensing wire had somehow come unplugged. Before doing anything else, always remove the key battery and try starting the car without battery to test whether the sensor area is working properly. The car may have been involved in a flood previously, and the wire was never reconnected properly after the interior was cleaned.
Feedback:
Solved.
The antenna is bad. He put a 12mm socket on top of it according official TPI.
FYI:
Need to locate the correct immobilizer antenna position. The antenna is in the armrest area and has an antenna symbol.
Place the key in the sensing area and then read the key status.
If the device indicates that the currently inserted key is a dealer key, you can proceed with learning the key.
If you move the key away from the sensoing area, the device will indicate that the currently inserted key is not a dealer key, and the learning process will fail.
