Repair Porsche 12V Lithium Battery with Yanhua Mini ACDP Module 23

 Yanhua Mini ACDP released module 23 for 2018 to 2020 Porsche 12V Lithium Battery repair.

When the voltage of the new Porsche (2018-2020) 12V lithium battery is too low for a long time, the vehicle crashes, the vehicle has an electrical short circuit, etc. This leads to the battery being in protection mode, the internal program locks up, the vehicle cannot start, and the battery cannot be charged. This module can implement automatic data repair.

Module Feature:
ACDP uses a special interface board instead of welding wire. APP has automatic pin detection, perfect repair data. Data repair is safe and reliable.

How to connect Module 23 and repair Porsche 12V Lithium Battery?

Mask SPC5644B

Module probe position area diagram

Prepare ACDP host, OBP+ICP adapter, interface board and module 23

Connect the interface board correctly as pictures above

Connect ACDP device, OBP+ICP adapter, interface board and module 23

If need repair data, select ‘Data Restore’ function and follow instructions to repair the battery.

If the original 12V Lithium Battery module is damaged, clone it, first run ‘Full backup’, then ‘Full Write’.

Yanhua Mini ACDP MSD80 Read Flash Data Error?

 Here comes the problem:

I was working on a 2008 5 series MSD80. It’s Cas3++ ISTAP. I started with reading ISN from DME using Yanhua Mini ACDP. Wired everything as prompted. Cannot read ISN, cannot read flash data.

ECU info, read no problem

Read ISN/PSW, read flash data error message

Backup flash- error too

ECU reset- no problem

Upgrade program- success

Back to Read ISN/PSW- Read Flash Data error again.

Question: what could be the problem & what is the suggestion for the next step?

Some may have a similar error when paired with MSV80.0 DME. Make sure you have a good network connection.

One of our customers failed at 53% in the ISN reading process because his Hotspot speed is too unstable.

Make sure you have updated the app to the latest version.

Backup FLASH separately

If failed, do the Upgrade program, then read again.

If all the above failed, try the solutions below.

 

Solution 1:

use the on board adapter instead of wiring it with the resistors

wiring sometimes not working 100%.

Solution 2:

Get it done on bench.
For example you can read on bench with autel im608 and gbox.

You can use gbox plus apb15 to read isn from dme, then program the key thru obd since you have the ISN from dme.
It is part of gbox2. It is db15 cable the name. no solder nothing apb15 is like the K line.

The diagram was similar to acdp only can H and can L moved took less than 10 minutes.
i.g Go to immo > bmw> 5 series > e60 cas3 > engine > next it showed read isn and it showed what you needed and how to set up

Installation is complete

Install Microsoft Virsual C++

Run PC-ACDP software as administrator again

It should be ok.

Calculate ID46 Pin Code with Autel KM100

 The 2022 new Autel MaxiIM KM100 has the capability of calculating ID46 password.  Here is the guide to use the 46 password calculation function.

 

Power on KM100.

Select Reading/Cloning– 46 Password Calculation

at the top of this page place your key in the key slot at the top.

Press Start to recognize the key

We need to apart the key so that the battery does not interfere with the password calculation process
Place the key component and the transponder head close to the Start button with the km100 key tool transponder end right behind it, then turn the engine on

You may need to press the Start button two or three times for it to successfully read the password

once you reach this stage it may take up to 3 minutes for the password to be calculated.

Take a picture of the password once it appears as you will need it if you are performing simulation.
